Questions venues ask
What does it cost the venue?
Nothing. During the 2027 pilot, every couple getting married at a partner venue gets Kaptr free, with no guest limit. You don't pay, and neither do they.
What do you need from us?
Three things: mention Kaptr at the couple's final-details meeting, put a Kaptr card in your welcome pack, and give us 15 minutes of feedback after each pilot wedding. There's no software for your team to run.
Do our staff have to set anything up on the day?
No. The couple sets up their event before the day. If you have a screen or projector in the function room, the live slideshow is a web page you open on it, which most venues do in a minute.
What if our signal is bad?
Guests can keep taking photos. Anything that can't send waits on their phone and goes when they're back in signal or on your wifi.
Can we use the photos for our own marketing?
Only with the couple's permission. We're building a consent option so couples can share approved photos and the highlight reel with their venue. Until then, ask the couple directly.
We're a photographer, not a venue. Does this work for us?
Yes. Recommend Kaptr to your couples and we'll make co-branded table cards with your studio name, so every guest who scans sees it. Guest photos complement your work: they catch the moments you can't be at.
